Quick Memo: December 2 update on #GASen

The memo:

  • The Republican cavalry continues to flood Georgia, this time for a "Barnstorming Tour."
  • A new Georgia ad is out from retired Navy SEAL and current Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX).
  • Judging from Carolyn Bourdeaux's Fox News interview, socialism doesn't play well in Georgia.

Barnstorming Georgia

Wallbuilders’ David Barton, Tim Barton and Rick Green, along with Republican Congressman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11), are hosting a bevy of high-profile special guests for a “Barnstorming Tour” in Georgia from Friday through Sunday. Former Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann (R-MN), Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and comedian Brad Stine are among the slate of speakers, which vary by appearance locations across Whitfield, Putnam, Fayette, and Cherokee counties.

Georgia Reloaded

Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is out with a new digital ad from his leadership PAC. In the spot, Crenshaw, fellow retired Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell and Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) get set to join the battle for control of the U.S. Senate in Georgia. Watch here.

Peach State Democrat bucks Medicare for All, Green New Deal, Defund the Police

Democratic Congresswoman-elect Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07) interviewed with Fox News this week and attempted to distance herself from the far-left wing of her party. This is a stark contrast to the ongoing Senate runoffs, in which Rev. Raphael Warnock has defended calling police officers “thugs,” “bullies” and “gangsters,” as well as saying members of the U.S. Armed Services cannot serve the military and God at the same time. Warnock has also not shied away from his support of infamous anti-Semite Jeremiah Wright. In turn, fellow Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is defending Warnock though all of the controversies, referring to the duo as “partners.”
